I’m currently working on raising money for my new short film, The Whiskey Priest.  It’s a 1930’s period piece set in South Texas near the border of Mexico and it’s during a period when the Mexicans were persecuting the priests. This is the story of the last priest in Texas, who is a drunk, and is tired of running and hiding from the authorities. The entire movie is set in a barbershop.

I think this project can really breakthrough and make it all the way to Sundance!  That’s the goal.  Working on securing talent still.
